To
gain the "E" entitlement a test run by the DSA needs to be passed. This test requires a higher standard of driving
than the car test, as the test is based from an LGV test station and examiners require it to be completed at LGV level standards.
THE TEST
A series of questions need to be answered
Eyesight check
A manoeuvring exercise
A braking exercise
An
on road assessed drive (up to 60 minutes)
A
coupling/uncoupling exercise
Training is tailored to each individual’s requirements and abilities to be as time and cost affective
as possible and is carried out in specially prepared and fully insured vehicles and trailers.
The training
will cover aspects of the test in the area the test is to be taken. We have the ability to book tests in advance so therefore
all arrangements will be made on your behalf.
